Welcome to the MEEA Website

The Mining, Energy and Engineering Academy (MEEA) is a not for profit company sponsored by the mining, energy, heavy engineering, small business, and more recently, retail, industries that works with a range of key stakeholders including every level of Government, Skills Council and Higher Education, Vocational Education and Schools sectors to attract and develop the current and future workforce needs of the mining, energy, engineering, business, and retail sectors, and the communities in which they operate. MEEA is currently focussing on running pre-employment programmes specifically targeted at training Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Our programmes include training in retail, administration, construction, logistics, and heavy machinery.
